GeForce RTX 3080

The GeForce RTX 3080 is a high-end-class graphics card, best suited to high-refresh 1440p and solid 4K with upscaling. To unlock its full performance and avoid a bottleneck, pair it with a Ryzen 7 or Intel Core Ultra 7, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a Gen5 NVMe SSD — a weak CPU or slow storage will leave frames on the table.

Modern games lean heavily on ray tracing and high-resolution textures, so DLSS 4 and FSR frame generation are what keep frame rates smooth on the most demanding titles. At this performance level the GeForce RTX 3080 can also drive VR headsets like the Meta Quest 3 and Valve Index at a steady 90 FPS.

With a 320W board power, give the GeForce RTX 3080 a quality 80 Plus Gold power supply with real headroom, and make sure it won't bottleneck your processor with the free Bottleneck Calculator, or size your power supply with the PSU Calculator.
